Giorgia Pietropaoli is a classical literature teacher from Rome, Italy. She also studied Persian Language and Literature at Sapienza University of Rome, where she earned her Ph.D. in Political Science as well. A writer and investigative journalist for Focus On Africa Magazine, she is active in the fields of information, education, and activism. She specialises in Middle Eastern dynamics, particularly Iran and Afghanistan, with a focus on human rights. She recently translated and edited the Italian edition of Words from Exile by Somaia Ramish, published by Allaround. Her next book, an investigative essay on Afghanistan, is set to be released in January 2026.
